DPI Roundtable Meeting: The Role of Civil Society in Conflict Resolution – The Irish Experience Dublin, Ireland 9-12 April 2014 The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) last week held a roundtable meeting in Dublin, Ireland, on the subject of Civil Society’s Role in Conflict Resolution, focusing on the Irish experience of this topic. Participants in this visit included civil society representatives from across Turkey’s political spectrum, journalists, academics, lawyers and representatives from various groups within Turkey. The visit was kindly hosted by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and was facilitated by the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation.
