During this visit, hosted by the Irish Government, participants from Turkey’s BDP party met with key actors from the Irish peace process, to discuss issues relating to conflict resolution. The aim of the visit was to examine the peace process in Northern Ireland, to gain a deeper understanding of consolidating lessons already learned during previous, larger-scale DPI Comparative Study Visits, which have already taken place as part of DPI’s Turkey programme.
